Designing Your CNC Series: Introduction
Просмотров 341Год назад
In this video series, Bob and Keith will take you through the process of designing a CNC machine, whether you're a seasoned DIY enthusiast or a beginner, we've got you covered. Video #1
How do you set which corner you are measuring from in UGS?
You guys are great. I wish I had a friend to share my CNC experience with. I am a retired master CNC machinist and I know my way around but this woodworking is new to me.
What software does this use?
Where can i get this script ?
i wish you have double windows, so we can see what your machine is doing the same time
Keith, it's good to see that you are a very responsible person. If something goes wrong, you are responsible!!!
Hi guys... in my basic cam i can display a square, triangle, circle and star but not any txt.... thanks in advanced for any response
Hi. I can display a star, square, circle and triangle but it won't display any of the txt. Would you know why? Thanks in advance
Great video!
Don’t need one, but that’s pretty sweet.
Price ? I'll take one probably lol .. will email help desk . I emailed about a year ago asking if the revolution could be lengthened .. so thanks for designing
Please see BobsCNC.com
Awesome new product. Looks great.
Hot diggity!!! A big ol' rotary. Well done guys! 👍🏻
How about show us the bobs basic program!!!! When you do these b Videos....
Hi Bud, which format file should be the imported image to Estlcam. Tks Max
I can't connect ugs to aurduino board. Give me feedback. Please
does it support OTK for precision cutting materials like leather?
this makes no since. I have the FoxAlien Moestro or whatever 4080. I am trying to plane a board. Say 1.5 inches thick 20inches long and 11 3/4 wide. With a 1.5 diameter planner bit. I pushed the bit up into the router. I just want to shave off .125inch off the board finishing depth of .25 of an inch. I am not worried about ceiling because I am well under it with the bit pushed up into the router. Plus I am going down into the board not up. What am I doing 3D printing? The bit is 3/4inch up off the board in the home position. And if I move to the corner of the board and set it as my zero position. With the bit just above the board. And push send code. I get Alarm 2. I do everything to avoid the Alarm 2. And I still get it. What the heck. I am about to take a sledge hammer to this machine, first rip its little limit switches off and smash them with a hammer. Then sledge hammer this machine to the earths core. Downside to this I am sitting here venting. This video is 4 years old and these guys are probably not even watching to see if they get comments on this video any more.
Thank you for the tutorial. But, is it my eyes, or is this very blurry?
Good visual demo of snug, thanks.
Could you go into the tabs with respect to the advanced settings witha vector type cut?
"Most excellent" Wayne's world?
It's good to see you guys back on the Shop Talk. 😃
Very helpfull.
Will Bobcnc work with any machine or just Bob's?
If I accidentally flashed my cnc machine will this out the code back in there?
Very clear, precise and easy to follow explanation, much appreciated 👍
You made it easy to understand thanks
Wow... clearer than my CNC lecturer.... subbed
Hi guys. My name is Jim and l make 2 foot by 4 foot cornhole boards and connect 4 games. Which machine would you recommend? The circles for the connect 4 take a lot of time to drill out and the discs have to also be made. These are usually made from 3/4 " ywood.
Please email the helpldesk@bobscnc.com in regards to this, thank you!
Hi, Guys. I enjoy your videos. I just got my Quantum cnc together a few days ago, and I'm using Basic Suite to get started. It's working pretty well, but I'm having problems creating tabs on my cutouts. I think I am doing it the same as Brian on Wooden Creationz; setting my height and length and spacing, but when the machine makes the cut, there are no tabs. I'm sure that I am probably forgetting something simple, but I can't think what it is. Please help me if you can. And keep making these great videos.
Please email the helpdesk@bobscnc.com for assistance.
This great thanks :-)
4:29 Do you have a list somewhere on the feed calculators? I look and it is confusing.... Thx in advance :-)
please contact the helpdesk@bobscnc.com
Thx for making this :-)
very annoying all the banter back and forth makes it hard to follow put out a tutorial with just one of you talking and forget about the joking around thank you
Thanks for making this :-)
I bought my Bob's CNC E4 used. The Rails and Rollers are lightly rusted. Any recommendations to clean the rust off?
I have the Bob's CnC - E4. I got it used. The Rails and Rollers have a light layer of rust on them. Now what? Thx in advance :-)
Fun and good info. Thx :-)
Great information, especially the ball screw gradings. Thank you.
I just ordered the Quantum CNC. I can't wait until I receive it. I'm wondering if any of the upgrades that you are talking about from the E series to the Evelution pertain to the Quantum? By the way, I have talked to Pam and Chris, and I think I have communicated with Bob about a Chinese piece of junk 3018 (which I'm hoping someone will take off my hands), and I believe I am dealing with a fine family that really wants to help others. Thank you!
You know it’s getting cold when Bob puts on the sweat shirt
Bob idk how to tell you this but the problem is I can’t get the collar nut off
Please email the helpdesk@bobscnc.com
Perfect! Just Bart's 6 board with lots of modules. Excited to get an ATC setup.
This is a really interesting series. Thanks for putting it together.
The blurred box makes me think that bob forgot to put on pants again. 😂
Good info, guys. Different studio?
